ICE hosts and funds in-residence fellows to further its core mission and to foment new directions for the engagement of the sciences, the humanities, and human spirituality.

ICE Fellows may be scientists, humanists, or spiritual leaders who will benefit from the free time and Dartmouth’s academic environment to develop or complete projects related to ICE’s mission and to expand their intellectual reach through interactions with faculty members. The length of residence can vary from two weeks to a full academic term, with longer terms considered based on the strength of the proposed project and availability of funds.

Fellows may also participate in courses as visiting lecturers and are expected to present one public lecture open to the local community around Dartmouth. They are provided with attractive housing, a fully equipped office on campus, and a generous stipend.

Fellows are selected in consultation with ICE’s Steering Board.

For more information on fellowships, please send your questions to ICE@dartmouth.edu or call 603-646-1380.
